U.S. SEC Commissioner calls for updates to S-1 form to better accommodate the uniqueness of cryptocurrencies
In a message from ChainCatcher, Alexander Grieve, the head of government relations at venture capital firm Paradigm, stated that Mark Uyeda, a member of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, has issued a statement on index-linked annuities and registration rules for adjusted market value annuities. In a footnote, he called for an update to Form S-1 to better accommodate the uniqueness of cryptocurrencies. This is the first time Uyeda has publicly called for a tailored information disclosure system for crypto assets.
