Trump Campaign Raises $21 Million During Bitcoin 2024 Conference
Former US President Donald J. Trump's campaign raised $21 million during the 2024 Bitcoin Conference. The funds reportedly came mainly from a fundraiser following Trump's speech on Saturday, which was organised by Tennessee Republican Senator Bill Hagerty and was reportedly attended by 100 people, with the Bitcoin Magazine CEO stating, "This is the second-highest amount of money Trump has raised in his three presidential campaigns, with money coming from a combination of industry and whale/ OG combination." Trump has previously reported that he personally owns between $100,000 and $250,000 worth of cryptocurrencies in 2022, and according to Federal Election Commission filings, his campaign has raised $221 million and now has $128 million cash on hand.
