Report: Q2 Cryptocurrency Venture Capital Increases by 2.5%, Transaction Volume Decreases by 12.5%
According to a new quarterly report from PitchBook, cryptocurrency financing has increased by 2.5%, reaching $2.7 billion. Despite the increase in amount, the number of transactions fell by 12.5%.
Robert Le, a senior analyst at PitchBook said: "Investors are concentrating their capital on a smaller range of opportunities, which is a leap towards quality. A few years ago, their investments were more dispersed across various fields. The total financing for 2024 is expected to grow by 20% or more compared to last year and will reach between $12 billion and $14 billion this year while it was about $10 billion last year."
