Donald Trump’s financial disclosure statement ahead of the 2024 US Elections shows that he owns over $1 million in crypto. His vice president running mate, JD Vance, reportedly holds at least $250,000 of the asset class, including Bitcoin.

The federal disclosure statements come at a time when the Republicans aim to receive the backing of the crypto community and the Democratic counterparts have an unclear stance.

Trump and Vance are reportedly holding crypto

Apart from being vocal supporters of the crypto sector, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and his VP pick JD Vance reportedly hold Bitcoin in the range of $1.25 million to $5.5 million.

The federal disclosure statement by Trump, ahead of the 2024 US Elections, reveals that he holds $1 million to $5 million in Bitcoin and other crypto assets. JD Vance has been holding the asset class since 2021 in the range of $250,000 to $500,000.

Contrarily, Vice President Kamala Harris and her VP pick Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, have shown no public stance or holdings of Bitcoin. Despite that Harris seems to be making a slight lead over Trump in the latest polls.

In terms of economic policies, the two proposed relief on tax burdens. Harris reportedly promises to end the tax on tips while Trump also offers to remove taxes on Social Security benefits.
