U.S. Vice President Harris formally accepts Democratic presidential nomination
According to CCTV news news, local time on August 22, U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris attended the Democratic National Convention in Chicago and formally accepted the nomination of the Democratic presidential candidate for the 2024 U.S. presidential election.
The 2024 U.S. presidential election will be held in early November. Harris officially received the Democratic presidential nomination on Aug. 5 and will face off against Republican presidential nominee and former President Donald Trump.
