This 8,825 ETH was purchased by him between July 28 and August 4 at an average price of $3,168 per ETH. He sold it off at $2,719 per ETH now for a loss of $3.96 million (-14%). He bought in during the downturn before the market crash on August 5th and missed out on the crash; otherwise he would not have suffered losses or even made profits.
