XRP price could surge as experts forecast significant gains
Finder, a financial comparison platform, has updated its XRP (CRYPTO:XRP) price prediction for 2024, gathering insights from a panel of fintech experts.
According to the panel's average forecast, XRP is expected to close 2024 at $0.66, with a potential increase to $1.05 by the end of 2025 and reaching up to $2.49 by 2030.
These predictions are largely driven by XRP's pivotal role in cross-border payments and its strategic partnerships with major financial institutions.
The panel's forecasts reflect a wide range of opinions, highlighting differing market perspectives.
Mitesh Shah, founder and CEO of Omnia Markets, is optimistic about XRP's future, predicting that the cryptocurrency could reach $0.75 by the end of 2024.
Shah bases his prediction on three main factors: the continuation of positive momentum driven by Ripple’s legal progress and stablecoin initiatives, potential regulatory clarity from the resolution of the ongoing SEC lawsuit, and the overall market cycle, where a potential bull run in cryptocurrencies could further support XRP's price, regardless of Bitcoin's performance.
On the other hand, Shubham Munde from Market Research Future predicts substantial long-term growth for XRP, suggesting that the token could climb to as high as $6.45 by 2030.
Munde's forecast is based on the widespread adoption of XRP by financial institutions, which could significantly enhance its value over the next decade.
However, not all experts share this optimistic outlook.
John Hawkins from the University of Canberra remains cautious, predicting a potential dip in XRP's price to $0.30 by 2030.
Hawkins' conservative estimate reflects concerns about potential regulatory challenges and the overall stability of the cryptocurrency market.
Despite the varied predictions, XRP's potential for significant price increases remains a key focus, particularly as it continues to play a crucial role in the global financial ecosystem.
As XRP navigates these forecasts, its future trajectory will likely depend on market conditions, regulatory developments, and continued adoption by financial institutions worldwide.
At the time of writing, the XRP price was $0.5637.
