Starknet Introduces “Parallel Execution” of Transactions in Version 0.13.2 Upgrade
Starknet has introduced “parallel execution” in its 0.13.2 upgrade, allowing multiple transactions to be processed simultaneously on the Layer 2 chain, according to The Block. The upgrade also includes “block packing,” which is designed to optimize block space utilization by densely packing transactions. The upgrade is expected to reduce transaction confirmation times from the current 10-80 seconds to approximately 2 seconds. Starknet is an ethereum Layer 2 scaling solution based on zero-knowledge aggregation technology, developed by StarkWare.
