Igloo Inc., the digital asset incubation studio, toy product merchandiser, and parent company of the Pudgy Penguins and Lil Pudgy non-fungible token collections, has launched a digital studio that will let crypto users edit the profile pictures of their non-fungible tokens without any fee. Pudgy Penguins Launches A Studio Letting Users Edit NFT PFPs
In an August 28 blog post, Igloo Inc., through its Pudgy Penguins X account, confirmed launching a new digital studio titled “Pudgy Studio.” The new and improved user interface (UI) allows non-fungible token holders to seamlessly browse templates across the Pudgy NFT market and Abstract ecosystems.
Revealed in June 2024, Igloo Inc. is now the parent company of Pudgy Penguins, a non-fungible token collection featuring a fixed set of 8,888 cute penguins hosted on the Ethereum network, and Lil Pudgys, a non-fungible token collection featuring a limited set of 22,222 NFTs originating from Pudgy Penguins. Igloo Inc. is in the final torches in creating its layer two network on Ethereum dupped “Abstract.”
The Abstract blockchain network is developed using the ZK stack, a standardized and open-source development solution for ZK rollups built by ZKsync, which gives it some interesting superpowers. The upcoming Ethereum Layer 2 network is expected to be “the largest blockchain network for consumer crypto users.” The Pudgy team will probably launch the new network before December 2024.
How Does The New Pudgy Studio Operate?
Pudgy Penguins has launched a new digital studio, which it believes will make its NFTs great again when integrated with its upcoming abstract network. The newly launched Pudgy digital studio is not complicated to operate. It requires users to input their token ID for their collection choice, and in just a second, each template is pre-filled with different penguin edits. Finally, users may click the download buttons for the PFPs of their choice.
Interestingly, the new Pudgy Studio is available for PC and mobile users. The Pudgy Penguins technical team has worked hard to ensure that Pudgy Studio works on mobile, including all downloads, not just browsing. Moreover, the team has made it into a web app so users can save it to their home screen and not have to click phishing links, which could lead to losses.
