Activision may solve the infestation of cheaters in the beta version ahead of the full release of the game scheduled for September 6.

On August 30th, players could pre-order Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 as an early access period. Many players have unlocked the early access to check out Black Ops 6 gameplay. There are currently 42.5k viewers of Black Ops 6 on Twitch. The beta version goes publicly live on September 3 and the game’s full release is scheduled for October 25th.

Within a day, people started sharing clips of cheaters taking over the beta version online. The cheaters are exploiting wall hacks, aim bots, and other hacks spreading on social media.

Many players were disappointed about the situation while others expressed that they were not surprised, saying that cheaters are persistently rampant in beta versions. According to another player, at least one in five players was cheating using the hacks.

Many others shared their own encounters as well with at least one cheating player in each match. Some suggested limiting cross-play with PC players to console-only matches to cancel out the chances of cheating.

Solution may come after Black Ops 6 testing period  ends

The same infestation of cheaters happened during Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 beta.

Cheating has continued over the years in the Call of Duty franchise. Activision has been making efforts to address this problem. Many believe cheating was at its peak when the Modern Warfare 3 game launched. The franchise made a series of decisions. They updated the Ricochet anti-cheat system to make it more effective. They also banned 65000 accounts, removing them from the ranked leaderboards and targeted lobby scraping apps.

Activision is expected to do the same for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 after the beta testing period. However, the game producer has not released any statements addressing the complaints.
