WALL STREET PREDICTIONS: Most Institutions Expect Fed to Cut Rates by 25 Basis Points Wednesday
A number of Wall Street institutions on the Federal Open Market Committee on Wednesday's interest rate decision, as well as the forecast for the remaining two meetings this year. Only JPMorgan Chase among the big banks expects the Fed to cut rates by 50 basis points today. Most institutions see a 75 basis point rate cut by the end of the year. Citi predicts two rate cuts of 50 basis points each after the September meeting.
