OnyxDAO Loses About $3.2 Million in Suspicious Attacks
On September 26, OnyxDAO suffered a suspicious transaction attack on the Ether chain, as monitored by blockchain security firm Cyvers Alerts. Initial estimates put the total loss at around $3.2 million, with the majority of the loss being in VUSD tokens. Currently, the attackers hold 521 ETH worth approximately $1.36 million. The rest of the stolen digital assets have not yet been exchanged.
