The total asset scale of American ETFs has broken through the $10 trillion mark for the first time
According to Jin10 reports, under the dual drive of capital inflows and market returns, the total asset scale of U.S. Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) broke through the $10 trillion mark for the first time this week. So far this year, investors have poured $691 billion into ETFs as U.S. stock indices continue to hit record highs. Amrita Nandakumar, president of Vident Asset Management, said that ETF growth is "incredible," especially considering that it took only 14 years for the ETF ecosystem to grow from $1 trillion to $10 trillion. She also pointed out: "Today, ETFs cover almost all types of assets and investment strategies that were previously only available to the world's most mature institutional investors." Jillian DelSignore, head of global investor distribution strategy at Nasdaq Global Index Group said: "ETFs are becoming investors' preferred tool; with evolution in private markets and continuous development in outcome-oriented strategies we will continue seeing new investment opportunities."
