U.S. SEC Chairman: Bank of New York Mellon's Custody Model Can Be Expanded Beyond Bitcoin and Ether ETFs
On Sept. 29, according to Bloomberg, SEC Chairman Gary Gensler said that BNY Mellon's custodial model could be expanded beyond bitcoin and ethereum ETFs, noting that “the structure itself doesn't depend on what the cryptocurrency is; it doesn't matter what the cryptocurrency is.”
