144th EtherCore ACDC Call: developers agree to include EIP 7742 changes in Pectra
On October 18, Christine Kim, Galaxy's VP of Research, posted a summary of the 144th EtherCore Developer Consensus (ACDC) call. This week developers discussed and coordinated changes to the Ethernet Consensus Layer (CL). Developers agreed to add EIP 7742 changes to Pectra to enable beacon chains to dynamically set the network's target and maximum Blob Gas fee limits; EF Developer Operations Engineer Barnabas Busa said it plans to shut down Pectra Devnet 3 immediately; and the Geth and Ethereum JS clients are now ready for the CL. The Geth and Ethereum JS clients are currently ready, as are the Lighthouse, Teku and Nimbus clients on the CL side.
