Sygnum Opens Lugano Office, Launches Bitcoin Program to Support Regulated Bitcoin Products
On October 24th, Sygnum, the digital asset banking group, announced the opening of a new office in Lugano, the largest city in the canton of Ticino and the Italian-speaking part of southern Switzerland.
The move is aimed at expanding client services and enabling cooperation with the Bitcoin and digital asset ecosystem based in Lugano and Plan ₿, an initiative launched by the city of Lugano to promote the use of Blockchain technology.
Sygnum's Lugano office will serve as a local access point for Sygnum's Ticino clients, prospects and partners.Sygnum's relationship managers provide 'white glove service' and allow local access to the bank's high-security escrow, transaction and crypto-backed Lombardy loans, as well as a range of other services from one partner. At Sygnum, all client digital assets are 'off-balance sheet' and thus safe from insolvency.
