Tether: 109 Million Wallets Held in USDT at Beginning of Q4
On 9 December, Tether's latest data showed that at the beginning of the fourth quarter of 2024, there were 109 million wallets holding USDT on-chain, four times the number of wallets holding all other stablecoins combined. The number of USDT wallets holding more than $0.01 was 54 million, compared to 13.8 million for all other stablecoins. The number of USDT wallets has grown by 71 per cent over the past year and 129 per cent the year before.
