The Aave community ARFC proposal suggests deploying the Aave V3 protocol on Linea
On December 11, the Aave community initiated the ARFC proposal, planning to deploy the Aave V3 protocol on Linea, an Ethereum Layer 2 network developed by Consensys. The proposal points out that Linea is based on the zkEVM technology stack and integrates Consensys products such as MetaMask and Infura, providing high throughput and fast transaction confirmation while maintaining the security and decentralization of the Ethereum mainnet. In addition, it suggests redistributing airdrops from Linea's ecosystem to Aave users through liquidity mining and GHO stablecoin incentives. If approved by the community, deployment plans will enter a snapshot voting phase coordinated with BGDLabs for implementation.
