Ethena May Launch New Stablecoin Product USDtb on December 16th
On December 12, stablecoin issuer Ethena released a new video showing the USDtb showcase page and mentioning December 16, 2024, or meaning that its stablecoin product, USDtb, will officially launch on December 16th. Previously, in a November 29 tweet, Ethena announced the upcoming launch of USDtb, which is initially about 90%+ backed by BlackRock BUIDL and will have the highest BUIDL allocation of any stablecoin issuer, with other issuers capping their maximum holdings at lower levels due to structural design differences.
