According to CME "Fed Watch": The probability of the Federal Reserve maintaining interest rates in January is 88.8%, and the probability of a rate cut by 25 basis points is 11.2%. By March, the probability of maintaining current interest rates remains at 53.3%, while the cumulative likelihood of a rate cut by 25 basis points stands at 42.2% and that for a cumulative reduction by 50 basis points is at 4.5%.
