As of Q4, 1041 institutions hold BlackRock IBIT, with a quarterly increase of 55%
According to Golden Finance, as per Trader T's statistics, in the fourth quarter of 2024, 1,041 institutions reported holding BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF IBIT, a 55% increase from the 672 in the third quarter of 2024. Additionally, institutions doubled their bitcoin holdings in the fourth quarter to reach 166,000 bitcoins. Accordingly, these reporting institutions held a share of 30%, up from the third quarter's figure of 19% (+58%).
