Mask Network Founder: The wallet on the phone was hacked by hackers, and the stolen transactions lasted over 11 minutes
Mask Network founder Suji Yan posted that today is my 29th birthday, which passed just 6 hours ago. About 3 hours ago, a public wallet on my phone was hacked into and more than $4 million in assets were stolen. All the theft transactions seem to be manually operated and lasted for over 11 minutes.
So either my private key was leaked on my birthday and the hacker manually transferred funds, or it was an offline attack. I was having a private gathering with a group of friends at the time, leaving my phone aside occasionally when going to the restroom for a few minutes. I trust my friends but this is a nightmare for anyone.
I have already contacted SlowMist and Zachxbt to assist in the investigation and cooperate with relevant agencies and law enforcement departments. Until these experts' results come out, I will not disclose any more information.
If this is an offline attack, please face me directly. Cryptocurrency isn't a dark forest; I won't let it become like that.
