A certain Ethereum ICO period whale transferred 6022 ETH to the Ethereum Foundation address 2 hours ago

According to on-chain analyst Ai Aunt (@ai_9684xtpa), an Ethereum ICO whale address transferred 6022 ETH, worth about $12.34 million, to an address associated with the Ethereum Foundation (0x22d...01246) two hours ago.

This whale acquired 560,000 ETH at a cost of $0.31 per coin during the Ethereum ICO phase and had previously distributed funds to four addresses. Over the past two years, this whale has transferred a total of 105,522 ETH to its current address mainly for LRT protocol staking.

Currently, this whale still holds 280,000 ETH spread across three addresses:

Multisig address 0x207...6a7f7 holds 139,678 ETH

Multisig address0xe08...5ca18 holds 55,000 ETH;

Address 0x22d...01246 (associated with the Ethereum Foundation) holds 85,622 ETH On-chain data shows that in May of 2022 this address received a transfer of four million DAI from the Ethereum Foundation.
