According to the CME ‘Fed Watch’, the probability that the Fed will keep interest rates unchanged in March is 93%, and the probability of cutting rates by 25 basis points is 7%. The probability of maintaining the current interest rate unchanged by May is 61.3%, the probability of a cumulative 25 basis points of interest rate cuts is 36.4%, the probability of a cumulative 50 basis points of interest rate cuts is 2.4%.
