According to Cointelegraph, U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis recently stated, "This brings about the concept of a Bitcoin strategic reserve. If you purchase or convert liquid assets into Bitcoin and hold it for 20 years, we have a very good model indicating that this can reduce debt by half."
