Fidelity Executive: A 4:1 Investment Allocation Ratio of Gold to Bitcoin is Currently Reasonable
Jurrien Timmer, Director of Global Macro at Fidelity, stated on the X platform that Bitcoin has recently returned to the $100,000 level, and the 52-week Sharpe Ratios indicator is converging with gold, meaning the volatility of gold and the Sharpe Ratio of Bitcoin is 4:1. Therefore, in terms of the extent to which gold and Bitcoin may coexist in value storage allocation, a current investment allocation ratio of 4:1 (gold to Bitcoin) is more reasonable. At this ratio, the volatility of gold is roughly equivalent to that of Bitcoin, and their relative performance is similar. A mixed portfolio may mitigate Bitcoin's decline without sacrificing long-term real return potential.
