Bitmain launches S23 Bitcoin miner with an energy efficiency ratio of 9.5 J/TH
PANews reported on May 28 that Bitmain released the new generation Antminer S23 Hydro miner at the 2025 World Digital Mining Summit, with an energy efficiency ratio of 9.5 J/TH. This water-cooled model has a hash rate of 580 TH/s and a power consumption of 5510W. To address the decline in miner demand, Bitmain introduced installment payment plans (40% down payment + two installments of 30%) and Bitcoin collateral financing options. Early orders enjoy a discounted price of $30 per TH, with a final price of $25.5 per TH after applying promotional coupons. The first batch of equipment is expected to be delivered in the first quarter of 2026.
