on the 8th, US President Trump stated that the federal government "will send troops to any place" regarding the riots in Los Angeles, California. The US military said on the same day that about 500 Marines are on standby. Trump told reporters that the protests in Los Angeles are "riots" and "we will send troops to any place", "we will not let the perpetrators go unpunished".
