170 Hyperliquid Traders Top $10M Profits as HYPE Hits New High

A new wave of data has highlighted significant profits by top traders on Hyperliquid, a rapidly growing decentralized trading platform. Crypto analyst Defi_Mochi shared new figures showing that at least 170 users have earned over $10 million in lifetime profits. These include trading profits from perpetuals as well as airdrop rewards.

More than 1,589 wallets have crossed the $1 million mark in total gains, according to the leaderboard post. The top Hyperliquid earners, while showing high profits, mostly have an ROI below 200%, indicating their gains stem from large initial investments rather than outsized returns.

Mochi noted that lower ROI in high-profit accounts suggests many top traders operated with large initial deposits. This suggests that capital scale, rather than extreme leverage or luck, is a key driver of success. The leaderboard ranks traders by all-time performance using both realized PnL and airdrop rewards.

Two wallets, “H universe” and “0x5420…3a3b,” offered a sharp contrast in strategy. Both made nearly $10 million in all-time profit. H universe had an account value of $9.15 million and an ROI of 597.24%. The wallet recorded a trading volume of over $332 million.

In comparison, wallet 0x5420…3a3b posted a far higher ROI of 2,742.85% on just $3.7 million in trading volume. Yet its final account value stood lower at $7.91 million. The figures highlighted two different growth paths, one through scale, the other through efficiency.

Hyperliquid’s native token, HYPE, has surged over 365% since its yearly low, recently hitting a new high above $44. The rally has pushed its market cap to $14 billion, with a fully diluted valuation of $44.3 billion. HYPE is now the fifth-largest digital asset by futures open interest, overtaking Dogecoin with $2.06 billion in OI, though still trailing XRP.

Hyperliquid utilizes a self-created blockchain, referred to as HyperEVM. It enables its users to trade perpetual futures directly on self-custody wallets. The protocol has gained traction among fund-managed accounts, together with large traders.

Hyperliquid’s rise comes as decentralized trading sees growing adoption. Its performance and trading tools have attracted some of the biggest crypto whales. The latest data from Defi_Mochi adds further attention to the platform’s evolving trader base.
