The Business and Professionals Alliance for Hong Kong Releases Research Report with Six Recommendations to Support the Development of a Global Stablecoin Issuance Hub
According to Hong Kong Ta Kung Pao, the Hong Kong Business and Professionals Alliance has released a research report on building a global stablecoin issuance center, putting forward six strategic recommendations to support the establishment of a global stablecoin issuance hub:
1. Establish a global stablecoin issuance center;
2. Improve regulatory safeguards to mitigate risks and enhance the efficiency of pilot projects;
3. Develop offshore RMB stablecoins;
4. Expand the size of Hong Kong’s RMB liquidity pool;
5. Encourage major universities and colleges to strengthen fintech-related courses;
6. Set up a high-level financial development committee to coordinate and communicate with mainland financial authorities for in-depth discussions on financial connectivity between the two regions.
