Sources: The US Is Withdrawing More Diplomatic Personnel from Iraq
According to two sources familiar with the matter, the United States is evacuating more personnel from its diplomatic missions in Iraq. A source with knowledge of the current evacuation efforts stated that at least one flight had departed in the past few hours. However, just hours after President Trump announced that the U.S. had launched an attack on Iran, flights were forced to pause due to Jordan closing its airspace. The source added that the goal is to leave only essential diplomatic staff behind. (Jin10)
