Billionaire Investor Philippe Laffont: Bitcoin Has the Potential to Become One of the World's Most Valuable Assets in the Next Five Years
According to a report by Jinse Finance, billionaire investor, hedge fund manager, and founder of the tech venture capital firm Coatue Management, Philippe Laffont, recently released his list of the "40 Best Companies for 2030." One unexpected asset on the list has attracted widespread attention—the world’s largest cryptocurrency, Bitcoin. In a June 25 interview with CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” Laffont stated that he ranks Bitcoin alongside well-known tech giants such as Microsoft, Nvidia, Amazon, and Meta, believing that Bitcoin has the potential to become one of the world’s most valuable assets within the next five years. Laffont has previously admitted to missing out on early Bitcoin investment opportunities and has expressed regret over it. He believes that Bitcoin’s market valuation could double by 2030, potentially reaching $5 trillion.
