An Ethereum ICO Whale Sells Another 501 ETH, Still Holds 2,410 ETH

According to a report by Jinse Finance, Lookonchain monitoring shows that an early investor who participated in Ethereum's initial coin offering (ICO) sold another 501 ETH nine hours ago. During Ethereum's genesis phase, this investor purchased a total of 16,000 ETH through two wallets at a cost of $4,960, with an average price of about $0.31 per ETH. Later, in 2017, he bought an additional 804 ETH on an exchange at $459 per ETH (costing $369,000). Since April 2021, he has sold a total of 14,394 ETH, cashing out approximately $50.11 million, with an average selling price of $3,482 per ETH. He currently still holds about 2,410 ETH, worth around $5.85 million at current prices. His total profit stands at $55.6 million, representing a return of 149 times his original investment.
