Metaplanet Reports Q2 Bitcoin Revenue of 1.097 Billion Yen
According to a report by Jinse Finance, Metaplanet announced that its Bitcoin revenue-generating business achieved revenue of 1.097 billion yen (approximately $7.62 million) in the second quarter of fiscal year 2025, representing a 42.4% increase compared to the first quarter. As of June 30, 2025, the company’s total Bitcoin holdings had reached 13,350 BTC. The company stated that its Bitcoin revenue-generating business aims to accumulate Bitcoin on a large scale while generating operating income. Compared to direct spot purchases, this strategy allows the company to acquire Bitcoin at predetermined price levels while receiving compensation, thereby presenting a more conservative risk profile in terms of downside risk.
