Foresight News reports, according to DLNews, that members of the U.S. House of Representatives will launch a "Crypto Week" starting July 14, during which lawmakers will vote on three key pieces of legislation that could reshape the digital asset industry: the "Genius Act," the "Clarity Act," and the "Anti-CBDC Surveillance State Act." Crypto attorney John Deaton believes that once these bills are signed into law, the likelihood of any future government policy reversal will be "extremely small."

The "Genius Act," which has already passed the U.S. Senate, will establish federal standards for dollar-backed stablecoins, subjecting those with issuance exceeding $10 billion to oversight by the Federal Reserve and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. The "Clarity Act," which cleared two key House committees last month, aims to finally resolve how the U.S. will regulate digital assets. The "Anti-Central Bank Digital Currency Surveillance State Act" would make Trump’s January executive order permanent law, prohibiting the Federal Reserve or any other U.S. agency from issuing a central bank digital currency.
