Pakistan Establishes Digital Asset Regulatory Authority
According to Jinse Finance, the federal government of Pakistan has established the Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (PVARA), which will be responsible for overseeing the country's digital asset industry. PVARA will operate as an independent regulatory body, tasked with issuing licenses to virtual asset service providers, conducting supervision and management, and ensuring compliance with international standards, including adherence to the relevant guidelines of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).
