According to Jinse Finance, Federal Reserve Governor Kugler stated on Thursday that the Fed should not cut interest rates "for some time," as the impact of tariffs imposed by the Trump administration is beginning to be passed on to consumer prices, necessitating a tighter monetary policy to keep inflation expectations in check.
