Greeks.live: BTC Max Pain at $114,000, ETH Max Pain at $2,950
According to ChainCatcher, Greeks.live has released its Chinese research report on options settlement data for July 18, with 41,000 BTC options and 240,000 ETH options set to expire. The BTC max pain point is at $114,000, while the ETH max pain point is at $2,950.
ETH's price breaking above $3,650 has led to a rebound in altcoins, while BTC remains volatile near its all-time high of $120,000. This week, approximately $6 billion worth of options will be settled, accounting for over 10% of total open interest. BTC's implied volatility remains at 40%, while ETH's implied volatility has risen to 70%. Recently, there has been frequent large-scale bullish trading, and FOMO sentiment is emerging in the options market.
