UK FCA Announces Opening of Crypto ETN Trading to Retail Investors
According to a report by Jinse Finance, the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) announced today that it will allow retail investors to participate in trading crypto asset exchange-traded notes (crypto ETNs). This policy will officially take effect on October 8, 2025. Under the regulations, related products must be listed and traded on UK investment exchanges recognized by the FCA and must comply with financial promotion rules. It is worth noting that these products are not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).
