EMURGO to Cease Delegating Genesis ADA to 7 Community DReps, Advancing Cardano Governance Fairness
Foresight News reports that Cardano developer EMURGO has announced on Twitter that it will stop delegating Genesis ADA to seven community DReps, aiming to promote greater inclusivity and fairness in Cardano governance. Previously, EMURGO had already ceased delegating Genesis ADA to its own DRep. This move responds to community feedback, including concerns raised during the Rare Evo discussion about EMURGO’s use of Genesis ADA delegation. The removal of delegation will take effect after the transition from Epoch 576 to Epoch 577, ensuring that treasury proposals remain unaffected.
