Foresight News: According to Decrypt, following large-scale protests over corruption allegations involving billions in flood control projects, the Philippines has launched a blockchain-based transparency system for the Department of Public Works and Highways. Developed by BayaniChain Ventures, the Integrity Chain records DPWH contracts and project milestones on a tamper-proof ledger. Paul Soliman, CEO and co-founder of BayaniChain, stated that the platform aims to "transform government records into immutable, verifiable, and publicly auditable digital public assets."
