All users who participated in the Plasma Confirm IC0 pre-deposit plan have received an XPL airdrop worth approximately $8,390.
PANews, September 25—According to Decrypt, Plasma has confirmed that all users participating in the pre-deposit program have received XPL tokens worth $8,390, even if they did not ultimately purchase XPL. Plasma stated that within three hours of the launch of its mainnet beta, half of the participants had already claimed their tokens. Plasma allocated a total of 25 million tokens to all pre-deposit users, which will be distributed equally among all pre-depositors. In other words, whether a user deposited $1 or $10,000, the additional reward received is the same.
The launch of Plasma's mainnet Beta and the token TGE coincided with the release of its stablecoin-native digital bank, Plasma One, in the same week. The digital bank's card will use the Plasma blockchain as a payment channel and claims to offer 4% cashback on spending. Plasma executives stated that this release is the first step forward, with more initiatives planned for the future.
