Former PayPal President: If Bitcoin's value equals that of gold, it's only a matter of time before its price surpasses seven figures
ChainCatcher news, former PayPal president and Lightspark co-founder and CEO David Marcus posted on X, reminding the community that if bitcoin's value were equivalent to gold, the price of one bitcoin could reach $1.3 million. Now, bitcoin is already a better store of value, and its payment utility has not yet been factored into the price. Breaking through the seven-figure price mark is only a matter of time.
It is reported that, possibly driven by the ongoing US government shutdown deadlock and expectations of interest rate cuts, both gold and bitcoin prices have recently reached all-time highs.
