According to Jinse Finance, Nigel Farage, leader of the UK Reform Party, stated in London that he will do his utmost to prevent the issuance of a central bank digital currency (CBDC) in the UK, calling it a "complete nightmare" and vowing that he would "rather go to jail than accept it." He promised that if elected, he would establish a "Bitcoin digital reserve," lower crypto tax rates, and prohibit banks from closing accounts due to crypto transactions, aiming to make London a global crypto hub.
