Blockchain.com, Revolut, and Relai obtain EU MiCA licenses, Plasma has submitted an application
Jinse Finance reported that Blockchain.com, Revolut, and the bitcoin application Relai have announced that they have obtained the EU Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) license. With this license, Revolut will provide comprehensive crypto asset services in 30 markets across the European Economic Area (EEA); Blockchain.com stated that the license clarifies the regulatory pathway and enables the expansion of digital asset custody and institutional-grade tools; Relai plans to first enter the French market and then expand to the rest of Europe. The Layer1 blockchain Plasma, which focuses on stablecoins, has obtained the Italian VASP license and set up an office in Amsterdam, with its MiCA license application in progress. This move marks the acceleration of compliance strategies by major crypto companies under European crypto regulation.
