Intel plans to acquire AI chip company SambaNova
Jinse Finance reported that, according to informed sources, Intel is in talks to acquire artificial intelligence chip manufacturer SambaNova. SambaNova has previously worked with bankers to assess the interest of potential acquirers. The report states that any deal could value SambaNova below the $5 billion valuation it received in its 2021 funding round. Negotiations are still at an early stage, and it is uncertain whether an agreement will be reached between the two parties. (Golden Ten Data)
