The whale who previously made a $200 million profit from shorting has now spent $40 million to go long on ETH.
Jinse Finance reported, according to Arkham data monitoring, a well-known whale who previously profited $200 million by shorting before the market crash on October 10, recently transferred $10 million to the Hyperliquid platform and established a long position in Ethereum. On-chain data shows that this whale currently holds an ETH long position worth $44.5 million, with unrealized profits exceeding $300,000 less than an hour after opening the position. This position was established during a period of volatility and adjustment for Ethereum. Given this address's previous record of making huge profits through contrarian operations, its current long layout has become an important market indicator. The trend of Ethereum price and the whale's subsequent actions remain to be observed.
