Tether USDT recognized as an accepted fiat-referenced token in ADGM, available on multiple major blockchains
Foresight News reported that Tether announced its USDT versions issued on multiple mainstream blockchains have been recognized by Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) as Accepted Fiat-Referenced Tokens (AFRT). This recognition allows authorized persons licensed by the ADGM Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) to conduct regulated activities involving USDT on blockchains such as Aptos, Celo, Cosmos, Kaia, Near, Polkadot, Tezos, TON, and TRON. This move builds upon ADGM's previous recognition of USDT on Ethereum, Solana, and Avalanche, further expanding the application scope and on-chain network coverage of USDT within ADGM's regulated digital asset framework.
