Michael Saylor: Quantum computing will not weaken Bitcoin, but will instead strengthen its security and scarcity
Jinse Finance reported that Michael Saylor stated that quantum computing will not destroy the bitcoin network; instead, it will drive bitcoin to achieve a "quantum leap." He pointed out that bitcoin can introduce quantum-resistant security mechanisms through network upgrades. Bitcoins that are still active will migrate to the new security system, while bitcoins with lost private keys will be permanently frozen. As a result, the overall security of bitcoin will be enhanced, the actual circulating supply will further decrease, and in the long term, this will help strengthen the value foundation of bitcoin.
