Bitget users can now connect their accounts to MetaScalp , a free desktop trading terminal built for scalping and intraday crypto trading. MetaScalp displays all essential data in one window: order book, trade tape, clusters, working position sizes, and real-time profit/loss. It supports both Bitget Spot and USDT Futures markets. Connect your Bitget account through a simple API setup and start trading directly from MetaScalp's interface.

Get your API key and passphrase on Bitget

1. Visit the Bitget website to create a new account or log in to your existing one. Complete the KYC procedure in the Identity Verification section if you have not done so already.

2. Open the Security Settings section and activate two-factor authentication (2FA) through Google Authenticator. This is required before you can create an API key.

3. Click the profile icon in the upper-right corner and select API Key.

4. On the API keys page, click Create API key on the right. Select System-generated API key.

5. Enter an API name and set a passphrase (8 to 32 characters, letters and numbers only). This passphrase is created by you and cannot be recovered. In the Permissions section, select Read-Write. Then activate the checkboxes for the trading permissions you need (Spot and/or Futures).

6. Click Next and complete the security verification (email code and Google Authenticator code).

7. Your API key, secret key, and passphrase will appear on the next page. Copy and store this information securely right away. The secret key will only be shown once.

Security tips: To protect your assets, never share your API key, secret key, or passphrase with anyone. Bitget staff will never ask for them. Do not enable Withdraw permissions. MetaScalp connects to your exchange through an API for trading purposes only and cannot move your funds.

Bind your Bitget account to MetaScalp

1. Download and install MetaScalp from the official website if you have not already. The terminal is free and available for Windows (x64).

2. Launch MetaScalp and open the connections menu. Select Bitget: Spot or Bitget: Futures depending on the market you want to trade.

3. Enter your Bitget API key, secret key (API secret), and passphrase into the corresponding fields.

4. Optional settings you can configure:

● Save password: Saves your API secret key after restarting the terminal. Only use this on trusted devices.

● View only: Enables a read-only connection without trading permissions.

● Auto-connect: Automatically connects to this API when the terminal launches.

● Proxy: Configure a proxy server for order routing and market data if needed.

5. Connection successful. Your Bitget account will now appear in the connections panel. You can open order books, view your balances, and start trading.

Tips: To give your connection a custom name, click the pencil icon next to the connection name. You can also use the "Duplicate API keys for..." function to create a second connection (for example, one for Spot and one for Futures) using the same API credentials. What you can do with MetaScalp and Bitget

Once connected, you can use MetaScalp's tools to trade on Bitget. Here is what the platform offers:

Order book (DOM). MetaScalp's order book is fully customizable. You can set density criteria with two slots for large volume detection, enable notifications for large orders, and configure multipliers for main and intermediate levels. Up to five working volumes can be set for quick trade execution, specified in USD or cryptocurrency. Each order book configuration can be saved as a template for reuse.

Trade tape. The trade tape displays a real-time feed of executed trades, showing connection, ticker, trade direction, volume, USD equivalent, price, profit/loss, and commission. This helps you read market flow and spot buying or selling pressure as it happens.

Cluster analysis. MetaScalp includes cluster charts that visualize the distribution of volume within price bars. This is useful for identifying areas of high activity and understanding where large orders are being placed.

Charts. The terminal provides high-quality charting with the ability to link charts to order books and watchlists. Multiple timeframes and chart types are supported.

Scalable workspace. MetaScalp allows up to 200 order books open simultaneously, with linking between order books, charts, and watchlists. The interface is designed for traders who work with multiple instruments at the same time.

Performance tracking. The Financial Results section shows PnL for each coin including commissions, available funds, and blocked funds. Trade history displays detailed data for every executed trade.

● Supported trading types: MetaScalp supports Bitget Spot and USDT Futures trading. Orders can be placed as limit, stop, or market orders directly from the order book.

● Advantages: The terminal is built for speed. It does not freeze during high volatility or large data volumes, which matters for scalping. Combined with Bitget's liquidity and low fees, this setup is suited for active intraday and scalping strategies.
